It seems like the Nike Air Max 95 in its original form is getting harder and hard to track down these days. Sure UK stalwarts JD Sports are holding down the silhouette as always, but other than that a good percentage of the styles on shelves are tech-ed out upgrades, Hyperfuse or otherwise. Bringing things in a bit closer to the initial design is this pair, sporting a stealthy look that gets its energy from the blue glow dosage slipped into the accents. Stay with us after the jump to get the full look and scoop up this Nike Air Max 95 right now from the team at Rock City Kicks.

Lance Armstrong retired from cycling in 2005 after capturing his seventh consecut5e Tour de France title, but even though he hasn’t worn the yellow jersey for a period long enough to constitute an entirely new personality construct, the Nike L5ESTRONG capsule continues to win like the race was set in PittAir Maxurgh. The latest Swoosh kicks to benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation’s fight against cancer is this L5ESTRONG x Nike LunarGlide+ 4, the current LunarLon running flagship featuring Varsity Maize accents on a black base plus Nike Free Run 5.0 silver and white hits. The Dynamic Flywire in particular reminds us of how Wieden+Kennedy sparked a whole generation of gel bracelets, and you’ll find the L5ESTRONG LunarGlide 4s available at Finish Line.

The standard version of the Nike Free Run has been stealing headlines as of late between the bringback of the original trio of colorways and the forthcoming ‘Split’ versions. Grabbing attention for the opposite end once again is this new colorway of the Nike Rosherun Trail which ends up as a pretty colorful one thanks to the usage of vivid sulfur and team orange. Click through to see more of the Nike Rosherun Trail that’s just arrived and then get in touch with the folks at Oneness to purchase Nike Free Run 3.0 your pair.

A year ago, a campout (or a line-up of any kind) wouldn’t normally happen for a Reebok shoe, but thanks to Swizz Beatz at the helm and a concerted effort by Reebok Classics to get in touch with the sneakerhead constituency, a major attitude change has surfaced around the once-dominant brand. Credit the Reebok Question, arguably the most popular Reebok Basketball sneaker of all-time, and the mix of collaborations and OG releases for bringing Reebok ‘back’, and if you see this recap from this weekend’s release of the Packer Shoes x Reebok Question ‘Practice’, you’ll know that these high profile Reeboks will take a bit more work to acquire. A campout on a rainy night led to a mass crowd at Packer Shoes, so check out the chronological recap below and let us know if you managed to cop the ‘Practice’.

The Nike Air Force 1 iD continues to add an option per month in this historic year for the silhouette, the NIKE iD upgrade this time coming in the form of some glow in the dark options. There have been a couple of inline pairs this year that have already set the bar as far as the fluorescent look, so you’ll have to put in some work to try and top the likes of those. Hit the jump with us for the teaser and head over to NIKE iD now to start whipping up a pair for yourself. Also, let us know in the comments where the Nike Air Force 1 iD ‘Glow in the Dark’ ranks against the other options that have rolled out this year, and get your iD done in-store at Nike iD Nike Free Run 5.0 Womens Studios worldwide, like at Nike Fukuoka.

The New Balance 998 has enjoyed a nice boost from J.Crew and Sneaker Freaker collaborations previewed and released in the near past.  That sharp eye for color is evident in the in-house designs as well, including this strong upcoming effort that mixes six different shades of grey (seven if you include the tongue backing) with black and white to make select orange elements really pop.  This is a perfect example of a low-key, highly wearable shoe whose restrained exuberance gives the casual wearer the best of both worlds.  Have a look below so you can see how they rank and stick with Sneaker News because they’re expected at retail in the next few months.

Nike’s highest-priced Lunar-cushioned performance runner returns for a third installment in 2013. The original was priced at $130 (a whopping $30 Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 higher than the $100 LunarGlide), but the Eclipse sub-category has gained a solid following for its outstanding design and performance quality. The LunarEclipse+3 Nike Free Run 3 is cushioned by the ‘bottomless’ carrier construction with visible Dynamic Flywire locking down the midfoot for peak fit. The heel-cap also comes with a re-design as well. Four colorways are set to hit stores this Spring 2013 season and is priced at $135, so check ‘em all out below and let us know which of the LunarEclipse series you like best. via ck

There’s much more to being a “sneakerhead” than owning sneakers. According to Complex, there’s a list of ten guidelines that all sneakerheads should follow in order to live a better life laced up in leather/mesh/suede/rubber. For starters, wear your sneakers and beat your grails down to the nubs of the outsole, and give back to the community by giving away some of the shoes that might have fallen out of favor. What are some of you unspoken rules of being a “sneakerhead“? Let us know in the comments below and head to Complex for their list.

Do you have a pair of the Jordan SC-2 yet? This young model has been plugging away for a couple of months now, popping up with some head turners here and there. It looks to be doing the same for summer, joining in on the Olympic festivities with a red, white, and blue colorway and also donning the tried and true taxi cab look (one that Jordan Brand seems to have ramped up ever since the Melo/NYC connection came about) for July. Stay with us after the jump for all the angles on this Jordan SC-2 and if you like what you see then go ahead and grab a pair early from the likes of from jbseller on us store.

With Team USA coming home with a Gold Medal just a couple of weeks ago, there’s no doubt that every member of that squad has been re-invigorated with an urgent sense of competition as they enter the 2012-13 NBA Season. That taste of victory is sometimes enough to elevate one’s game, and of that group of USA-branded players, Chris Paul is one to keep an eye on as he looks to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a step above their 2012 Playoffs finish. He’ll be doing that in the all-new Jordan CP3.VI – his sixth signature model that he debuted during the 2012 Olympics; it features familiar design cues like the diamond cut-outs on the upper that provide both a structural and sentimental purpose to CP3, a low-cut construction, and an enhanced outsole traction composition – paramount to CP3′s hard-cutting and zig-zagging navigational tendencies. The Jordan CP3.VI will hit stores in the USA colorway starting this Saturday, September 9th, at Jordan Brand retailers, so take a look at the extra shots below and let us know where these rank among all of CP3′s Jordan sigs.

It started with the Dunk High, then (nose)slid onto the Mogan 2 and switched sports entirely for the LunarRidge, so the stage is set now for the latest Nike Winter OMS release to combine all these influences. The Nike Lunar Braata Mid OMS does just that, pairing a skate upper with the Ridge’s LunarLon OMS sole (a lighter alternative to the Winter Dunk’s Free-inspired bottoms). They also connect to P-Rod’s Lunar hybrid and are available now at many of the same retailers, including Premier.

One of the major developments in the sneaker world this season was the confirmed return of the Air Jordan III with ‘Nike Air’ on the heel. Considering the White/Cements last saw the light of day in Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 this form back in 1994, the reaction to this news was, for the most part, positive. However, this latest bit of information might be a thorn on the side, as the retail price for the Air Jordan III with Nike Air will be set at $200 – a whopping $40 jump from the MSRP of the 2011 Retro version. Well, Air Jordan fans, you got what you asked for. But is it worth the price? Let’s get the conversation rolling in the Comments area below.

Nike Sportswear adds a fourth member to the chromed-out Super Bowl Trophy pack with the classic Bo Jackson trainer that returns in its signature colorway this Saturday. The Nike Air Trainer SC High pictured above is kinda like taking that original ‘Auburn’ getup and transferring the intensity of the Tiger colors into a metallic blast on the wraparound. A bit of black comes in on the tri-toned splotch outsole and we’ve got a Lombardi Trophy tribute that doubles as a fine white spring/summer shoe and a suggestion of further growth for gridiron-inspired Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 sneakers in the years to come. Have a closer look below and let us know if you’ll grab this Quickstrike along with the rest of the pack punctuating the first Nike x NFL season this heat-filled Saturday, February 23rd.

The ‘Memphis Blues’ tune is slowly beginning to play out, because after we showed you a detailed set of images earlier this week, we’re getting hit with some more images of this purported ’1-of-1′, which clearly is far from being the one-of. Royal Blue is to Penny as Varsity Red is the MJ, and this colorway definitely pulls no punches as it goes ‘Raging Blue’ with the tonal colorway on hte upper, with the translucent outsole and 1-Cent logo offering the only contrast. No word on a release of these Memphis Blues just yet, but we’ll keep you updated because it certainly appears that these are beginning to pop up with reason. Your thoughts on this colorway? Better than the tonal-red Memphis Express? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates! Photos: kicks-lab

There are just two weeks left in 2012 and just as many Nike Free Run releases. On the 26th you’ll get the Nike Free Run ‘Christmas’ and just a few days later you’ll get the Nike Free Run ‘Prism’, which sports a pretty muted combo that takes advantage of the diamond/jewel theme with its geometric graphics. Take a look at all the angles on the Nike Free Run ‘Prism’ that we’ve got lined up after the jump and keep in mind that you can scoop yours up on December 31st at fine retailers like Rock City Kicks.

Things just got a lot more interesting for the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Fighter Jet’. First of all, the sneaker is coming sooner than we’d expected, the release date now set at January 1st. On top of that it’s the first Nike Air Foamposite One version that we’ve seen featuring the ‘premium’ designation, one that bumps the price up to $235. The info is coming directly from Nike, but be sure to stay tuned with Sneaker News for the first word if anything changes. Click through with us to check out the upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Fighter Jet’ pair and stick

At the moment, Northern New Jersey’s Teaneck Armory is serving as a refuge for those without homes and power from Hurricane Sandy, but almost half a century ago, it was the home of the New Jersey Americans. The now defunct ABA basketball team played in the Armory from 1967-1968 before eventually moving on and becoming the NJ Nets, and as a tribute to the longstanding structure, another Teaneck institution, Packer Shoes, will be paying tribute with their latest sneaker collaboration. Packer has teamed up with adidas Originals for a contemporary new spin on the classic Conductor Hi model, giving it a luxurious makeover with a patriotic look that ties in both the Teaneck Armory and the long gone NJ Americans bball franchise. Keep reading for a look at some teaser pics shot on the actual Teaneck Armory grounds and stay tuned for detailed images and full release info coming soon.

Breaking news: a serial murderer is out on the loose in Asia. His only game? Deadstock kicks. We first showed you a pair of Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ torn seam from seam, giving us a unique view of the Concords from a whole new vantage point. Some question the person’s motives of destroying a perfectly good pair of sneakers, or whether we gain anything from having a look at these dissections, but we can all agree that not many others will take the time and effort to put these sneakers Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 through reverse construction. Moving on from the Air Jordan XI, the Air Foamposite One ‘Electrolime’ is the next victim, and here we get a look at the Foamposite skin, the hardened Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 piece at the outrigger, and even the Zoom Air cushioning that gives the Foams that cushioned feel. We’ve got a nice step-by-step of the complete dissection after the jump, so take a look and let us know if anything below interests you! Photos: long-7

South Beach was the first area of Miami Beach to be developed back in the Nineteen-Teens, but it was nearly a century later that this Biscayne Bay hot spot became a sneaker colorway.  People will be talking about that ‘South Beach’ LeBron 8 for another hundred years or more, a sneaker so popular it rivals the most elite Air Jordans in terms of copycat colorways (and, one day, retro potential?).  The LeBron 9 already had a variety of MIA-themed colorups, but none carries the same pedigree nor pricetag as the ‘South Beach’ Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite.  These official images depict the Wolf Grey-based, Mint Candy New Green and Pink Flash-accented LeBron 9 Elite in all its glory; do you have its June 2nd US release date circled on your calendar?

The Nike Air Foamposite One has steered pretty clear of too many NBA team tie-in colorways, Nike Free Run + 3 aside from the initial ‘Royal’ colorway to go with Penny’s Magic uniform and that rare ‘Knicks’ version that Spike Lee was blessed with earlier in the year. Pushing the envelope a bit is the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Phoenix Suns’ shown here, which takes cues from the aforementioned ‘Royal’ with its blue base and then injects in some orange beyond the Foamposite sections. Will this pair hit retail and spin a career story out of the Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 Nike Air Foamposite One like the recent string of Nike Air Penny Vs? Stay tuned for the answer and hit the jump for a full look at the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Phoenix Suns’.

One thing we can’t overlook about these European sneaker events is the variety in brand representation. In the States, it’s mostly about Air ordans, Foamposites, and Nike Basketball with other brands like New Balance and Asics growing fervently into the scene, but across the Atlantic, it’s almost an even distribution among all the labels. Solemart Berlin recently wrapped up its Fall 2012 showing and this recap proves just that – a balanced helping of Nike, adidas, Supra, Puma, and more. Check out this recap of Solemart Berlin Fall 2012 after the jump and let us know what type of shoes you don’t typically see in the States jumps out at you the most.

Volt is far and away Nike’s most popular palette choice for this year’s Olympics in London, with the yellow/green shading visible in the coverage of a vast number of events. Honing in more towards the medals that follow up said events are a few more pairs that go directly for the gold, this Nike Free Powerlines+ pair being one of them. Click through with us for some detailed shots of this all new Nike Free incorporated release and stay with Sneaker News for a release date, which should arrive soon enough what with the Olympics in full swing as we speak. Or for our international readers there are some pairs up for grabs at mita sneakers right now.

It looks like Nike Basketball will be suiting up in their Sunday best once again in 2013 with a reprisal of the ‘Easter’ theme. Shown here is what appears to be the Nike KD V ‘Easter’ complete with pastel colors not unlike those you might be messing around with while dyeing your eggs in anticipation of the Easter Bunny. Continue reading to check out the Nike KD V ‘Easter’, along with that all red colorway, and check back with Sneaker News for release info on this new pair.

After years in the shadows and limited overseas availability, the New Balance 996 is enjoying a renaissance in 2012.  It started early this year with the release of the latest UNDFTD x Stussy x HECTIC drop and hit new heights this summer with a variety of suede and mesh releases including these two we expect in stores soon.  The ‘Made in USA’ NB996 is about to hit in brick red and dark grey colorups, a couple of equally simple styles that show off this design’s understated versatility with two different blocking patterns.  Click through so you can see more photos of both, let us know which looks best and stick with Sneaker News for word on Us availability.  Photos: mita sneakers

Regular Sneaker News readers may have noticed a recent mini-trend involving camouflage print Vans sneakers.  It turns out that this pack extends the popular concealment pattern to smaller sized sneakerheads as well, as the Vans Camo Classics collection brings forth styles for adults, kids and toddlers.  The Vans Half Cab and Era see their camo maximized on the smaller sizes with a bit more emphasis on black suede for the adults, so check them all out below and find yours available at select retailers.

If the 90′s decade was your playground, chances are you have a smushy soft spot for Reebok Pumps and Lego toys. The Legos and Pumps were the must-have toy and must-have sneaker, respectively, of that era, and though the simpler era of chunky high-tops and Shell gas station sets is over, we can only grow to appreciate the time much more. Made by Alex ‘Orion Pax’ Jones for rapper Kamp One of Vienna, the Lego Reebok Pump combines those two periodic artifacts to bring some new life to the original Pump known as the Reebok Nike Free Run 7.0 Pump Bringback. Jones goes as far as keeping the colorway as OG as possible, leaving us to think – would you cop any Lego sneaker sets, like the Nike Mag 2011? More shots of this dope project below, Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 so take a look and let us know what you think.

Nike Sportswear’s ready to kick off the 2013 calendar year with some intense Air Max heat. We’ve been covering all the hot Spring 2013 releases, with one of the major highlights being the re-issue of the original ‘Neon’ Air Max 95; it’ll arrive untouched from its original form, which means no EM, BB, 360, or any other recent upgrade that had been presented in 2012. If you’re looking to add these to your collection or are just starting, the Neons are an instant must-have. Titolo has a pre-order now, so check out their images below and let us know if you’re due for a re-up on these sneaker staples.

Back on Valentine’s Day, Sneaker News showed you the first of two tonal, canvas-covered Nike Air Max 90s that’d arrived at European retailers. Those have yet to arrive here in the States, but young sneakerheads will soon have their chance at something similar in the pair Nike Free Run 3 0 V2 pictured above. This Air Max 90 for kids stops short of the all-over canvas look, instead applying it to the toe and ankle of a design that mixes in equal amounts of grainy leather and suede. The effect of this blend in conjunction with the Midnight Navy and Soar color palette is of a deep ocean dive, the kind of look you’ll find perfect for summer at Nike Sporstwear stockists like Mr. R.  Photos: ITSB

If you’re into griping, then the sneaker game is the right place to be. On the daily, the internet is chock full of folks lamenting the days gone by, claiming that the sneaker game has gone downhill since x-era or y-release. Erasing some of that doom and gloom is the latest Complex list, this one coming up with ten reasons that the sneaker game in its current state is better than ever. Why should we believe that, you ask? They mention the power of online shopping, the increased Nike Free Run + community aspect brought on by social media, and the philanthropic nature of certain releases as a couple examples. Check Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 out Complex for the full list and let us know in the comments if you think the ‘sneaker game’ is at an all time high.

Earlier this week we hit you with a release date for this original Air Jordan from 1985, but it’s time to take a closer look at each individual pair. The 2010 releases of the AJKO were the surprise hits of that year, but we imagine these won’t exactly sneak up on people because the AJKO and the Air Jordan 1 in general has been an intensely popular pick – and what better than this original ‘Banned’ colorway? These are destined for stores this June 2nd at select Jordan Brand retailers, so take another look below because you’ve never seen this version in this condition (remember those originals we showed you last weekend?).

More Air Max ’87 goodies continue to pop up with the newly branded “Essential” grade, but with a colorway as clean and crisp like this Black/Royal/Anthracite, we can only agree that these are indeed “essential” to any Air Max collection! The ‘Essential’ model, it seems, is the Nike Free Run + 2 base build of the Air Max 1, with mesh and synthetic nubuck uppers for that classic appeal. We’ve seen Premiums with synthetic leather and a firmer suede and 2013 will in fact yield the Engineered Mesh and VNTG versions, so there’s a lot to choose from depending on your personal style. Eastbay is among the many retailers that have ‘em available so cop ‘em before they disappear.

The Jordan Spiz’ike has shown off a couple of new colorways in recent weeks, but let’s not forget about the pair that’s slated to release in what’s left of January.  This ‘Challenge Red’ Spizike takes its name from those select accents including contrast stitching cast in this aggressive hue.  But most Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 of the shoe is black, and including the always eye-catching patent leather along with a golden brown shade might have you thinking ‘All Gold Everything’.  Have a closer look below and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.

This is one ‘Decision’ that won’t hurt too many feelings: Sneaker Con announces another return to Miami as the greatest buy/sell/trade sneaker event of its kind returns to South Beach for a third overall event. No city is filled with more excitement right now than Miami is, so be sure to make it out to the Fieldhouse at the Bank United Center at the University of Miami on August 4th to partake in what’s already established as the go-to sneaker event in the nation. Full event information is just ahead, so take a look and be sure to come prepared with your best and brightest kicks! Any doubts about just how amazing the event will be? Check out the recap of the last Sneaker Con Miami that went down in March.

Who is Apollos Young? You don’t know? He’s that Pistons Nike Free Powerlines player that locked down 54 pts, 31 rebs, 22 steals, 0 assts in a game and is on record for being the first to ever smoke a black & mild during a game. Alright truth be told he’s a fictional ball player sort of along the lines of Johnny Kilroy, a Detroit Pistons Bad Boy that apparently outlasted that era just a bit. The character is paid homage to in this crazy collab from Burn Rubber and Reebok, lighting up the Reebok Question (renamed here as the Reebok Inquiry, Apollos Young’s signature sneaker) with an old school Pistons vibe centered around this Dennis Rodman meets Chuck Norris character. Stay with us after the jump to check out the ostrich leather sporting Reebok Question remix and look for them to drop September 1st a 12PM at Burn Rubber.

A huge part of the Nike Air Force 1‘s sustained success is the immense variety of styles we’ve seen over the years. Each element and the shoe as a whole is capable of such extreme customization, sometimes all it takes is just a single element to set off a new design. Take for instance the Swooshes that run from heel badge through the mid panel on the Air Force 1 Low; we’ve seen them done countless times in the ‘standard’ stitched-on configuration, some with perforated outlines or double-layered Swooshes. This latest pair derives its novelty from the contrast of a black nubuck upper and vibrant blue accents (very ‘Send Help’) including an embroidered Swoosh the likes of which we’ve not seen aside from last year’s ‘Denim’ Premiums (and those had more of a herringbone stitch). Click through to see up-close Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 and personal how Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 this element defines the design and grab yours from the only store that carries this style: JD Sports.

You can expect Nike Basketball’s Big Three athletes to all get their signature sneakers equipped with ‘Black History Month’ colorways come February. It looks like there are going to be even more basketball offerings beyond that to do the ‘BHM’ thing. Pictured here is the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2012 Low ‘BHM’ which gets way more thorough as far as the patterning up top than the Nike LeBron X ‘BHM’. Hit the jump for more of the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2012 Low on the feet of Steve Nash and let us know in the comments if you’re looking forward to the pair.

The New Balance 574 is one of several significant sneaker designs celebrating a 25th anniversary next year.  Size? decided to go back even further, crafting three new pairs in simple yet bold colorways inspired by a simpler time.  The NB574 ’70s Pack reminds us that we’re blessed to have such a huge variety for today’s performance runners, as three primary colors remind us of a time before anyone ever considered combining purple and teal or any of the other more modern sport aesthetics we’ve come to know and love.  The time machine theme is a perfect match for the Friday, December 21st drop date, but with all a huge holiday season spread still growing larger, will you have room for these Size? exclusives?

A Nike Free Run + lot can happen in ten years.  In twenty-five, you cover so much ground, you’ll end up right where you started.  The Air Jordan III is proof; a tenured veteran whose legacy is well chronicled, who ten years ago demonstrated that the Jumpman it debuted all the way back in 1988 had surpassed even ‘Nike Air’ when it came to basketball supremacy.  A quarter-century after Tinker Hatfield’s first Air Jordan debuted, the Three gets back to the original branding with the ‘White Cement’ colorway dropping in February.  We have images comparing the upcoming release to the previous 2003 edition; let us know what you think and stick with Sneaker News for the exact release date.
